This workshop is an invitation to reflect on personal identification, differences, understanding and acceptance of one's self in accordance/discordance with himself or the others.
Lately, in the contemporary times, personality is not the most important aspect of social life, but your profiles on social networks are. The main skill of our century is to be able to create a "cool" image on instagram and to have thousands of followers starting from teenage years.
Your avatar, your mask on the social networks, becomes for many more important than life around family, achievements in school, good performance in society. We donβt mean that is bad, because we also grew up switching from board games to computers and now we feel like you. The option to escape into virtually mediated worlds is important, especially when the world around is not yet built according to your rules. This possibility of having an avatar, a mask, gives you the chance to look the way you want, to express your inner energy which is important for understanding of your personality and any further chances in your life.
In this workshop we aim to unite you with your inner worlds through making masks together. On the surfaces of each mask you will have the possibility to express yourself with shapes, text, texture, color (glue, paste, write in words). You can follow each other, discuss the ideas that you have included in your masks and learn more about each other's personal worlds.
We want you to feel good around others, to be yourself, to cherish your talents, to express your freedom, courage, hope and faith in the future!
As a result of the workshop, we shoot a video with your masks, dancing and screaming without any boundaries!
